Objective
This in house study was designed to demonstrate the impact that Hydrosome Labs technology has on the growth of yeast, using a continuous supply of ultrafine bubbles.
Design
S. cerevisiaewas grown in YPD medium in a 100L bioreactor. In the test leg, Ultrafine bubbles were infused into the fermentation continuously using Hydrosome Labs technology. No bubbles were added for the control leg. All other conditions were identical.
Results
The test leg using Hydrosome Labs technology had an 8% higher final biomass level and a 17% faster exponential onset time.
